ensures everyone who works with heavy vehicles – from the business that employs a driver to the place where goods are picked-up and delivered to – is accountable for safety.
Who has responsibility under the heavy vehicle national law Chain of Responsibility?
Under Chain of Responsibility law, everyone across the supply chain shares an equal responsibility to comply with Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), even if you don't drive or operate a heavy vehicle.

The Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL) :

In all jurisdictions where the HVNL applies, legislation is in place that adopts the HVNL as a law of that jurisdiction.
